Stop

The signal that tells us that we must stop is defined with the code R-2 and implies the mandatory stop of any vehicle that finds it on the approach to an intersection or incorporation.

But, for our execution to be correct, we must take into account several issues. And it is that the vehicle must be stopped before the next stop line or, in the event that this does not exist, just before the intersection so that we have visibility but without endangering any road user. If possible, we will avoid encroaching on the lane we want to cross.

Where could we find it?

These signs can be found in places that are usually intersections with poor visibility, additions to different roads or places to change direction where there is traffic in both directions.
